How to Elect Ron Paul as the Next President of the United States
Libertarians and Constitutionalists need to jump ship.
If you are a Libertarian or Constitutionalist and you live in a state that has closed primaries you need to join (if only temporarily) the Republican Party so you can vote for Ron Paul. He was, after all, the 1988 Libertarian Party nominee for the Presidency and he is now reaching for it again, this time with the possible support of a “major” party and a greater chance. The primaries are going to be the biggest hurdle for his campaign and he needs your support now more than ever, especially since he will be up against the likes of John McCain and Rudy Giuliani.
If he does make it through the primaries, he will easily be elected as the next President of the United States. With the backing of Libertarians, Constitutionalists and Republicans there will be no way for the Democratic nominee to come out on top.
So here is the trick: Swallow your pride and join the Republican Party. Then we might just end up with a Libertarian President, or at least the closest thing we’ve had in the past 220 years.

I plan to vote for him in the TX primary if I can. We do not register by affiliation in TX and I am pretty sure that I can vote for him and still participate in the Libertarian convention process. As a county chairman, I should know for sure, but many are asking about it and I will be running it past state to be sure.

“With the backing of Libertarians, Constitutionalists and Republicans there will be no way for the Democratic nominee to come out on top.”
That’s pretty naive, all things considered, there will be a Democrat in the White House in 2008. The Republican brand has been soiled so badly by Bush and his neocon buddies that not even Ron Paul could save them in 2008. Besides, the Republican Party will probably pick Giuliani… they like a man who thinks with his gut.

I wrote in Ron Paul today as I voted (in ohio we can vote early) McCain is a dildo and Obama pretty much the same just smoother. actualy i wrote in other candidates wher i could and left the other federal ballots blank. Dems ANd Republicains both have reduced our freedoms and preformed acts agaisnt tho constitution. Their meddeling beyond the powers the Costitution granted them was just about ruined our economy and country.
