Today is the birthday of Milton Friedman, quite possibly one of the most well-known free market economic thinkers. He is known for advocating a reduction in the role of government in the market place in oreder to maximize political and social freedom. Friedman passed away in 2006, but his ideas live on. We salute you, Milton Friedman.
