Ron Paul’s ‘End the Fed’ Available for Pre-Order

Posted by RottingNation On August - 9 - 2009

Ron Paul’s new book End the Fed has just been made available for pre-order at Amazon.com.

One reviewer says: “Everyone must read this book — Congressmen and college students, Democrats and Republicans — all Americans. The Federal Reserve, which serves private banks, has compromised our economy and is undermining our freedom. It can and must be stopped now. Ron Paul shows us how and why we must end the Fed. Read this book!”

From the description: “Most people think of the Fed as an indispensable institution without which the country’s economy could not properly function. But in END THE FED, Ron Paul draws on American history, economics, and fascinating stories from his own long political life to argue that the Fed is both corrupt and unconstitutional.”

I also recomend Thomas Wodds’ Meltdown: A Free-Market Look at Why the Stock Market Collapsed, the Economy Tanked, and Government Bailouts Will Make Things Worse to read while you wait for End the Fed.

Futurama Cast Will Return to Comedy Central

Posted by RottingNation On August - 4 - 2009

So it looks like the entire voice cast of Futurama will be returning for the new season on Comedy Central:

Back in June, 20th Century Fox confirmed that new episodes of Futurama, which was canceled in 2003, would be hitting Comedy Central airwaves in 2010, and that all the original cast members would be back to provide the characters’ voices. A month later, the announcement was amended, and Variety reported that a casting call went out for new actors to provide the voices for the revival. We haven’t been so caught up in a will-they-or-won’t-they since watching the awkward chemistry between George-Michael Bluth and his cousin Maeby on Arrested Development.

But finally, Fox has given us an answer on Futurama: They will.

This, is very good news.
