Ron Paul is the Taxpayers Best Friend
According to the non-partisan National Taxpayers Union, Presidential candidate and 10-term Congressman Dr. Ron Paul is the only remaining candidate, from either party, that will cut spending.
A recent report by the NTU shows that Paul’s proposals will cut spending by over $150 billion. Paul’s campaign claims that this is a “conservative estimate”, but even as so it is the better than any of the other candidates.
The proposals of current Republican “front-runners” Mitt Romney and John McCain would actually increase spending by $19.5 billion and $6.9 billion. Huckabee who, along with McCain and Romney, calls himself a conservative would increase spending by an astounding $54.2 billion. That does not sound very conservative to me.
Ron Paul Supporters Place Full-Page Ad in Boston Globe
The day before the Massachusetts primary on Super Tuesday a full-page ad supporting Presidential candidate Ron Paul is running in the Boston Globe. The ad was put together, paid for and organized by supporters who were part of Paul’s Boston Meetup group.
Ron Paul Places Second in Nevada Caucus
To the surprise and disarray of the Republican establishment, Congressman and OB/GYN Dr. Ron Paul, placed second in todays Nevada Caucus. A strong showing of independent voters pushed him above every single Republican candidate excluding Mitt Romney.
…
The reason for Dr. Paul’s outstanding showing in Nevada may be that his pro-freedom message rings louder in the western states. In some areas of Nevada, for instance, prostitution is legal. Perhaps they realize that a Ron Paul administration would be very unlikely to meddle in their business.
